My name is Vanita Kihuithia, I am originally from Kenya, Nairobi. I am one of the Operations Directors at Healthy House. I started at Healthy House in July 2023 after meeting Dr. Brumblay and the Executive Director, Pam Coffey. I love the mission of the organization of creating a space that is safe and sober for women that won my heart and that drew me to working here. I am a current student and an alumni international student from Kalamazoo College. I have a background in Social Work. I am very passionate about service and showing up.
I love the quote, "Leadership is Servanthood" because I truly believe you need to show up ready to serve, and serve well. I love music, spending time with my friends, and volunteering. I will continue to study and pursue my academic goals while serving in Kenya. I plan to travel to different African Countries and learn to serve different populations.
